International Business Machines (IBM) shows the way during the times of economic recession. IBM has been the leader of the technology industry and has been an example for more than two generations now. IBM announced their fourth quarter financial which reported a fiscal fourth quarter profit that exceeds the previous year’s profits by 12 percent.

IBM (IBM) reported net income of $4.43 billion, or $3.28 a share, up from $3.95 billion, or $2.80 a share, a year earlier.

The CEO of IBM Mr. Samuel Palmison said that IBM had done as expected and is about to perform even better in the next fiscal. The good news doesn’t end there, as there were no layoffs announced as the rumors were doing the rounds of hundreds of layoffs from IBM.

This only shows that companies with sound fundamentals and sensible business models will keep performing and that technology companies will most possibly remain profitable even while the banking sector and automobile sector is groping under the effects of recession.

President Obama is being said to be the biggest ever assassination target till today. The various intelligence agencies of the United States have got information in this regard and hence there are more than 45000 troups, secret service agents, police securing the whole of Washington DC while Obama is taking the highest office in the US government.

Obama takes office while the Ku Klux Klan, neo-Nazis and al-Qaida all gunning for him. The US security agencies are trying to prevent any thing similar to the assassination of the 1960s president John F Kennedy.

They will have to keep high alert as the pro white forces around the world will be gunning for him as well as the terror networks that are always against America.

The Pakistani government and the Pakistani army have now resorted to pure blackmail of the new US government under 44th US President Barack Obama. The US government in the first ever statement related to US aid to Pakistan had said that all non military aid to Pakistan would now be linked to Pakistan’s performance on the War on Terror front. US had said that it was Pakistan’s responsibility to keep the borders of Afghanistan common with Afghanistan and that Pakistan should not let its territories be used as a hideout for the Taliban and Al-Qaida terrorists. The US forces have in recent times been facing attacks by these terrorists launched from Pakistani territories adjoining Afghanistan.

The Pakistani government and the Pakistani army replied to this US statement by saying that Pakistan may have to review all options related to its support to the War on Terror. What does it mean? This means in plain terms that Pakistan will keep using US non military aid for purposes of encouraging hardline Talibani islamic fundamentals in its territories and wouldn’t take any actions against the web of terrorist training camps sprouted throughout its territories.

Pakistan has resorted to plain blackmail of the US. They want the US to continue giving our huge aid to Pakistan without even thinking where the money goes. The aid given to them have been used in the past to fund the terror network throughout the Pakistani territories and the ISI’s covert plans against India. They want this to continue otherwise Pakistan will pull their troupes from the Afghan borders. They had recently resorted to blackmail just after the terrorist strikes in Mumbai. Pakistan has become a rogue state and should be dealt like one without any discrimination.

Indian music director A. R. Rahman who recently won th Golden Globe for the best original music score for the Hollywood movie Slumdog Millionaire, the rags to riches saga of an Indian boy from a Mumbai slum has bagged triple nominations for the 81 st Oscar Academy Awards. Rahman was nominated in the Best Original Score category and twice in the Best Original Song section.

Rahman is a celebrated music director from India and joined the Indian film industry at Mumbai also called as Bollywood at a very young age. The whole of India has been dancing on the tunes of A R Rahman and humming songs which have been composed by him. Some of the songs of A R Rahman are the all time favorites of all Indians. He has won multiple National awards given away by the Indian government for compositions in multiple films. The music given by Rahman assured of getting on top of the charts in the India.

The times of India today reported that the movie slumdog millionaire was nominated in 10 categories at the Oscars this year. A R Rahman had in the past associated with many international projects - the Bombay dreams that was a success in london, the Lord of the Rings and many more. He is truly a genius whose time to be known and admired the world has come.

I stand here today humbled by the task before us, grateful for the trust you have bestowed, mindful of the sacrifices borne by our ancestors.

Said President after taking oath as the 44th US President after the most expensive inauguration ceremony that continued for the last three days. Obama outlined the current situation of the country. He emphasised on the fact that it is well understood that the country stands in a situation of crisis.

Obama said -

That we are in the midst of crisis is now well understood. Our nation is at war, against a far-reaching network of violence and hatred. Our economy is badly weakened, a consequence of greed and irresponsibility on the part of some, but also our collective failure to make hard choices and prepare the nation for a new age. Homes have been lost; jobs shed; businesses shuttered. Our health care is too costly; our schools fail too many; and each day brings further evidence that the ways we use energy strengthen our adversaries and threaten our planet.

Obama seems to be ready to take the crisis head on. He also looks determined to win the war on terror that US had unleashed on the network of Islamic terror throughout the Afghanistan and Iraq. He outlined the seriousness of the challenges faced by his countrymen by the following words -

Today I say to you that the challenges we face are real. They are serious and they are many. They will

not be met easily or in a short span of time. But know this, America - they will be met.

We can only wait and watch or just speculate about what course of action the new US President is going to take. Will he be able to bring the confidence of the markets and the world community in the leadership of American industry? Will he be able to salvage the pride of Americans that seems to be loosing amid fears of America slipping down the ladder of Super power as the difference between developing nations and the US are decreasing in every mean?

Barak Obama the new US President who has made history by becoming the first colored US president has a tough task ahead in the form of the current economic crisis gifted to him by his predecessor Bush. Obama has indicated in many of his appearances and public statements in the wake of the current economic crisis that he will be taking the crisis head on.

Obama recently gave a go ahead to the current president Bush’s team for spending the money earmarked to be given to the companies in crisis. He didn’t want to take credit for what was a necessary measure and needed immediate action. Obama’s insistence on giving priority to the bail out of the sinking automobile giants that are pride of the the fledgling manufacturing business in the US shows a lot about what is to come in the form of economic policies in his tenure as the President.

Obama had during his Obama for President campaign given hints at trying to stop outsourcing of jobs from the country to other less costly countries. It even makes sense to save the country’s vast recently unemployed population from facing the situation of prolonged joblessness and thereby deterioration in the quality of life of a huge population. If he allows to let this deterioration happen then that would be injustice to the people who have shown faith in him by electing him the first colored President making history.

The citizens of America will have to wait and watch as their new president shows his economic skills - or should we say Obamanomics.

The US President Elect and the 44th President to be has gone through the route taken by Abraham Lincoln before he became president to reach Washington. The journey had started and ended with much fanfare. Now he will be coronate as the 44th US President and the first Black person to be the one.

The Inauguration show at the Lincoln Memorial will be free and feature Bono, Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi, Mary J. Blige, Beyonce and Shakira among other star performers. The three day inauguration ceremony is being guesses to be most expensive till today.

Obama must think in these tough times not to splurge on the scarce resources his country has in these times of gloomy recession.

He is going to meet the cheifs of the armed forces on the first day.. It looks good strategy as the menace of terrorism looms over the world.

It is good time for America and the world that a black has become the President of the racist America of the past. This is really lovely to understand that such things are possible and only in democracies. Places where you are not even allowed to walk on the same street as the so called better race, you become the President of the country itself. GREAT. YOU DID IT. I love Obama and the spirit of American Democracy.

Recently a well known Islamic cleric from Southi Arabia has made and announcement to legalize marriage s of preteen girls aged as low as 10-12 years. The powerful cleric Grand Mufti Abdul Aziz al-Sheikh said in a speech late on Monday that Islamic Sharia law allows the practice of pre-teen girls getting married and that if we deem them minors then it is an injustice for the pre-teen women.

“If it is said that a woman below 15 cannot be married, that is wrong. If a girl exceeds 10 or 12 then she is eligible for marriage, and whoever thinks she is too young, then he or she is wrong and has done her an injustice. ” the cleric said.

This is how them seem to be treating their women and girls - don’t let the women have the freedom of showing their faces ah not even eyes and marry the girls child as young as 10 to a person old enough to be her great grand father. Can a sensible group of people write such things ?  Theythink they are fitto rule the world and want to make the whole world follow their mad ways.. May God forbid but such people are unfit to live let alone rule this world. MAY THE GOOD SENSE PREVAIL and THE Innocence of the Daughters of GOD be saved.

Israel is the new found target of the world’s most infamous terrorist - Osama Bin Laden. The recent Gaza attacks by Israel have become the latest toast of the eye of news networks around the world. The same has attracted the attention of the Islamic terror networks around the world too.

Islam is generally perceived to be against the existence of Jews and Israel and that is made still evident by the recent statements issued by Osama in his 22 minutes audio tape asking the Mulims around the world to garner support for the Hamas and stop Israeli attacks on Gaza anyhow.

God has bestowed us with the patience to continue the path of jihad for another seven years, and seven and seven… The question is, can America continue its war with us for several more decades to come? Reports and evidence would suggest otherwise .

There is no questioning the fact that Pakistan and Pakistanis hate India. The sole reason for that is that Pakistan was

formed on the basis of separatism and hatred against the Hindu majority in India. There was no Pakistan before India’s

Independence. The more than 150 years rule of India by the British had contributed to the differences between the Indian

Musliims and Hindus. This later took the form of hatred of Pakistani nationals against India. The first example of this

was found when Pakistan supported the Muslim tribals in 1947 to go against current rule by the Hindu ruler of the state.

But India came to the rescue of the ruler and the state of Jammu and Kashmir was formed and integrated into India.

This not only enraged Pakistan but also gave them another reason to hate India and Indians. Again Pakistan was bifurcated

into two during the 1971 war which resulted into the birth of a new country Bangladesh. So, hatred for India is engraved

in the flesh and blood of Pakistanis. Their only motive by hating India is that they want India to be punished for

reasons that are best known to the war mongering Pakistani leaders and army rulers.

Hatred has never been the solution for anything. But love brings change that is always favourable to the one who loves.

Hope the good sense prevails and Pakistanis start to love humanity and leave the path of hatred and terror against India and the waorld as a whole.
