A R Rahman

Indian music director A. R. Rahman who recently won th Golden Globe for the best original music score for the Hollywood movie Slumdog Millionaire, the rags to riches saga of an Indian boy from a Mumbai slum has bagged triple nominations for the 81 st Oscar Academy Awards. Rahman was nominated in the Best Original Score category and twice in the Best Original Song section.

 

Rahman is a celebrated music director from India and joined the Indian film industry at Mumbai also called as Bollywood at a very young age. The whole of India has been dancing on the tunes of A R Rahman and humming songs which have been composed by him. Some of the songs of A R Rahman are the all time favorites of all Indians. He has won multiple National awards given away by the Indian government for compositions in multiple films. The music given by Rahman assured of getting on top of the charts in the India.

 

The times of India today reported that the movie slumdog millionaire was nominated in 10 categories at the Oscars this year. A R Rahman had in the past associated with many international projects - the Bombay dreams that was a success in london, the Lord of the Rings and many more. He is truly a genius whose time to be known and admired the world has come.
